Infrastructure

Infrastructure is a pre-requisite for any school as it provides the underlying foundation for facilitating essential services and aiding the school’s efforts to nurture the overall development of a student in academics, sports and co-curricular activities. EPCS builds a strong foundation for young learners so that they become active participants in life-long learning by providing a suitable environment and adequate infrastructure.

TOTAL CAMPUS AREA

The campus is spread over the area of 3493 sq. metres. The school has a nice campus with CCTV surveillance. It has facilities like Activity room, Craft & Arts room, Library, Well-equipped labs and Playground.

CLASSROOMS

The classrooms are aesthetically pleasing along with being well ventilated and furnished. A sense of ownership is instilled in the students and they decorate their classrooms with a lot of color, ingenuity, resourcefulness and information. Each classroom also has a soft board which displays student’s project work throughout the year. Soft board is essentially a medium to explore the students’ ideas and emotions through different works of art and presentations.

A specific area is also reserved for current notices, timetable and announcements for the students. The material put up in the classroom is updated throughout the year by the students and the class teacher.

LABORATORIES

The school has the following labs that aid in enhancing the problem solving skills in students:

SCIENCE LAB: The school has well-equipped and well-stocked Physics, Chemistry and Biology Laboratories where specimens, models and picture-charts are used as effective tools to teach Science. Students perform various experiments in Chemistry Lab, do biological researches on detailed structures in Biology Lab and get firsthand knowledge while measuring and recognizing various factors in Physics Lab.

COMPUTER LAB: The school has established a fully maintained and Wi-Fi networked computer lab with high quality PCs and related equipment in each. All students are encouraged to access the computers for basic exposure and skill acquisition.

MATHS LAB:The school has an added feature in Mathematics lab with the measurement of 80.9 sq. metres, which makes learning of the subject a sheer joy for the students. Students are encouraged to learn all mathematical processes in creative and explorative ways.
SOCIAL SCIENCE LAB: A well-equipped Social Science Lab ,focusing on spatial skills. This lab makes learning of the subject a pleasurable experience and inspires the learners.

LIBRARY

The school has a well – equipped library with a large stock of books including Encyclopedias, Fiction, and Reference Books. The library continues to grow with addition of new books in every session.

PLAYGROUND

To ensure holistic development of the students, games and sports are an integral part of the school curriculum. The school boasts of vast play areas for the students. Playing outside is not just about letting off steam. It is a vital part of childhood that helps children develop physically and mentally. There is clear and consistent evidence about the benefits from exposure to and engagement with nature. The school has an engaging and stimulating play area for Kindergarten students also. These play areas have safe equipment that provide the little ones with a rich learning atmosphere, where they can learn life skills and team building in the play-way method.

The school has ensured that our washroom facilities are well maintained, well hygienic and pleasant for the students to use.
